Irish Deaf Kids is running a Photo Competition for a project later this year.

Closing date: October 31, 2008 - Theme: Kids in Action

The photo competition complements our goal of inclusive education by creating a level field for deaf & hearing people to show their ability.

The subjects of photos in the competition must be children “in action” – eg, playing football, dancing, running, playing, swinging, splashing water, cycling or simply being themselves.

Entry is open to all, and entries will be accepted from:
(a) primary school students
(b) secondary school students
(c) young people / adults (age 19+)

The competition is hosted online in a private members’ group on Pixie.

Entrants will be able to see entries with a “public” view online. “Private” entries are possible for entrants who prefer this option.

If you don’t join the group at this stage, access is removed when you close your browser. To join, you must log-in or create an account to proceed. Uploading a picture automatically joins you to the group.

Winning photos will not be used without their owner’s permission.

Photos will NOT be posted on the Irish Deaf Kids website or forum.
