Exhibition 2026
Malahide Parish Centre
May 15th to 31st
Malahide Camera Club held our very successful 14th Annual Photography Exhibition in Malahide Parish Centre from May 15th to 31st.
Featured in this year’s exhibition were 128 images from 65 local photographers covering all aspects, and genres of photography.
The Exhibition was opened on Friday May 15th by Mr. Paul Stanley FIPF EFIAP/p ESFIAP of Dublin Camera Club. Paul is a long time friend of our club, a superb photographer, IPF Council member and the National Liaison Officer for FIAP in Ireland.
This year we also hosted a special event - Cold & Colourful Waters a presentation by leading underwater photographer Nigel Motyer - a Malahide native - who has recently published his book Beneath Irish Seas, The Hidden Wonders of Ireland’s Amazing Marine Life. This was an enthralling evening and very well received by the near capacity crowd.
Each year the public votes for their favourite image and the photographer receives the John Doyle Memorial Trophy. This year’s winner was Claire O’Dwyer with her image - Curious Cow (see here)
Malahide Camera Club is very grateful for the continued support of Fingal County Council and we were delighted to welcome Sile Stewart O’Shea, the Deputy Arts Officer to our opening night.
